# Weai

> Weai turns a phone into a hosted WhatsApp API. Each instance links one WhatsApp account (QR code or pairing code), answers on its own subdomain ({name}.eai.menustudioai.com), exposes REST endpoints for messages, media, groups and presence, and streams realtime events over Socket.IO. From 5.50 EUR per instance per month. Weai is independent and not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.

Key facts:
- No WhatsApp Business API / Meta approval needed: the linked phone is the gateway (unofficial connection, numbers can be restricted by WhatsApp).
- Auth: per-instance token sent in the `apikey` header.
- Base URL: `https://{name}.eai.menustudioai.com`
- Realtime: Socket.IO v4 over WebSocket only, receive-only.
- Built-in AI assistant in the dashboard.
- Hosted in the European Union (Finland); GDPR applies.

- Starter: 1 instance, 7.00 EUR per instance, 7.00 EUR per month
- Pack 10: 10 instances, 6.00 EUR per instance, 60.00 EUR per month
- Pack 25: 25 instances, 5.50 EUR per instance, 137.50 EUR per month
- Isolated instance add-on: 12.00 EUR per month each (dedicated resources, priority support)
- Prices in euros, VAT included, billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel anytime; no refunds, plan changes are prorated as account credit.
